What is an artwork packager?
It prepares a single artwork for several frame shapes. SnippetSafe makes one JPG for each ratio you choose, adds a text guide with the actual pixel dimensions and print sizes, then groups them into ZIP downloads. You can attach those ZIPs to an Etsy digital listing.
Will it make a small image high resolution?
No. The tool never enlarges your artwork or invents detail. Each preview shows the largest print dimensions at 300 pixels per inch for that export. Start with your largest original, and check the result before advertising a print size.
Do I need a separate file for every frame size?
Usually not. Sizes with the same ratio can use the same image: an 8 × 12 and a 12 × 18 inch frame are both 2:3. The larger print needs more pixels for the same quality. Our print guides explain how to choose a size.
Can I keep the whole artwork without cropping?
Yes. Choose the white-border option. It fits the entire image inside each selected ratio. Crop mode fills the frame; the position controls let you decide which edges to keep. Transparent areas become white in the exported JPG.
Is this free? Does my artwork leave my device?
The tool is free, with no account or watermark. Your image is opened and processed locally in your browser. It is not uploaded to SnippetSafe. Closing or refreshing the page clears the working session; save your downloads first.
What are the limits?
Open one JPG or PNG up to 40 MB and 40 megapixels. Each exported image is limited to 20 megapixels and a 10,000-pixel side for browser stability. Large images may be reduced; the preview tells you the resulting dimensions. ZIPs stay under 19.5 MB, with a maximum of five packages.
